A Bill to Establish and Define Medical Malpractice

SECTION I: The Firestone Criminal Code shall be amended

SECTION II: Chapter 2, §14 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be established.

SECTION III: Chapter 2, §14 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall state

“(a) Medical Malpractice shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone

(a1) Medical Malpractice shall be defined as the act of medical and firefighter personnel failing to provide the medical treatment, omitting to take appropriate action, or provides a subpar treatment that results in injury or death of the patient

(b) Proper medical license or certification shall be issued by the Firestone Department of Health, the Firestone Fire Academy, and/or the Stapleton County Fire Department."

SECTION IV: Malpractice, as defined in “SECTION IV (a1)” of this legislation, shall be classed a Class A Misdemeanor and result in 270 seconds in the State Penitentiary.

SECTION V. Chapter 2, §14 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be titled “§14 Medical Malpractice”

SECTION VI. This legislation shall go into effect after undergoing the constitutional process.
