A BILL TO ENABLE REGULATION OF ON-DUTY FIREARM POSSESSION

To permit departments to establish policies and regulations regarding possession of firearms by individuals that would be customarily certified


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1A: Departments and employers shall be entitled to establish policies and regulations for the purchasing, obtaining, and possessing of Firearms and other weapons while an individual is on team or otherwise on-duty.

SECTION 1B: Breach of said policies or regulations may not constitute a criminal offense (unless said violation would be a crime if an individual were off-duty), but employers may be free to issue disciplinary action against violators in accordance with relevant employment rights legislation.

SECTION 2: Should any part of this Act be declared unconstitutional or otherwise struck down, the rest shall remain in effect unless all is struck down or declared unconstitutional.

SECTION 3: This Bill shall go into effect as an Act of Congress upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.
