A Bill to Amend Departments in RICO Act


        Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. DEFINITIONS

    The “RICO Act” shall be recognized as: (Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act ('RICO'))

§2. Amendment

    (a) Section 1 of the “RICO Act” currently states: The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, The Firestone Bureau of Investigation Director and the Department of Defense Secretary shall have the authority to label organizations and groups as “Criminal Organizations” pursuant to the requirements of this act. Such labeling shall be public information and be publicly announced. It may also be appealed through the District Court as a civil case against the state. Should the court find the labeling does not meet the requirements of this act, the labeling shall be overturned and all penalties under this act rendered null.

    (b) Section 1 of the “RICO Act” shall be amended to state: The Firestone Bureau of Investigation Director shall have the authority to label organizations and groups as “Criminal Organizations” pursuant to the requirements of this act.     (c) Section 5 of the “RICO Act” currently states: This act shall be enforced by the Secretary of Homeland Security, the courts, and all law enforcement agencies with the power to arrest.

    (d) Section 5 of the “RICO Act” shall be amended to state: This act shall be enforced by The Firestone Bureau of Investigation Director, the courts, and all law enforcement agencies with the power to arrest.

§3. ENACTMENT

   This Legislation shall go into effect upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.

§4. SEVERABILITY

   Should any part of this Legislation be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
