A BILL TO AMEND A BILL TO PROTECT THE FIRESTONE COURT SYSTEM

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: “A Bill to Protect the Firestone Court System” shall be amended.

SECTION 1A: “A Bill to Protect the Firestone Court System” shall be defined as the following legislation- A Bill to Protect the Firestone Court System

SECTION 2: Section 2A of the aforementioned legislation currently states, “Violation of Section 2A shall be considered as a misdemeanor crime at the judge’s discretion within the State of Firestone.

Consequences for this crime shall be (but not limited to) bench warrants, increased bail, increased incarceration time.”

SECTION 2A: Section 2A of the aforementioned legislation shall now state- “Violation of Section 2A shall be considered as a misdemeanor crime at the judge’s discretion within the State of Firestone. Judicial officers shall not be permitted to sentence an individual to more than ten (10) hours on the grounds of contempt of court. Respectively, each “contempt of court” charge shall not exceed two (2) hours in prison.”

Consequences for this crime shall be (but not limited to) bench warrants, increased bail, increased incarceration time.”

SECTION 3: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passage.
