Be it enacted by the Congress of the State of Firestone that;
§ I. TITLE.
(a) This bill may be cited as [name here] under records and archives.
§ II. DEFINITIONS
(a) All defined words that will be used later in the legislation are defined as;

Law Enforcement Officer - an employee under the Executive Branch of Government to enforce the law.

Arrest - individual(s) seized by legal authorities and taken into custody for violation of the law(s).

Detainment - individual(s) held lawfully with the removal of their freedoms/liberties for the time period.

Citation - legal document explaining that you’re accused of committing a traffic offense with the ability to fight in court or pay the amount given by the citing officer.

Law Enforcement Agency - a government agency responsible to enforce the law.

Search - examination of an individual’s body or property, or an area in which the person was or expected to be, by a law enforcement officer.

Seizure - the act of taking property by legal process or force, such as evidence found at the scene of a crime.
§ III. SEARCH AND SEIZURES
(a) Searches are only able to be conducted by law enforcement officers.
- Searches only may be conducted if reasonable suspicion, probable cause, if individuals or an individual has a warrant, has committed a crime, or any other plausible reason that a law enforcement officer deems necessary that is able to be upheld in court.
(b) Seizures are only able to be conducted by law enforcement officers.
- Seizures only may be conducted, if said item was used in part with a crime or believed it was. If said item is illegal to carry on person, unable for the individual to carry on their person, i.e weapons.

§ IV. DETAINMENTS
(a) A law enforcement officer may detain an individual or individuals for a period of time of no longer than;

Five minutes if doing a pedestrian stop for getting identification. 15 minutes if needed to get a Supervisor.

15 Minutes if performing a traffic stop, may exceed no longer than 25 minutes if it becomes High Risk, and or need to get a supervisor.

30 Minutes if conducting an investigation, and or analyzing a crime scene.

30 Minutes for questioning or interrogation.

No individual should be held in detainment for more than 30 minutes under any circumstances.
