I don’t think any candidate mentioned gun control, the only thing close to that that B_ear mentioned as reducing the number of CFL warriors through better training and harsher punishment for interfering with the duties of LEOs in situations such as robberies, hostage sits etc

reducing the amount of “CFL warriors” heavily implies that we’re going to limit the number of people who have CFLs in some fashion. i cannot agree with that. i’m all for punishing those who misuse it, but it’s already hard enough to get a CFL in the first place.

I don’t believe it’s hard at all, especially for those who hold a POST Cert it takes 15 minutes max. If you don’t you to to a 1-2 hour class and take an easy test. I’ve seen so many instances of CFL holders misusing their cert, but never being punished. We need better education, and more punishment for misuse.
